Indulge in a perfect Exhale + Chill Happy Hour!
Take away the stress of the week with a deeply relaxing Yin yoga flow led by instructor Lindsey Gill, then round off savasana with a tonifying and calming acupuncture treatment given by licensed acupuncturist, Laura Malandra, L.Ac.

This unique experience combines the profound benefits of yin yoga's deep stretching and acupuncture's therapeutic touch to create a blissful 75 minutes of leaning into your body's ability to rest, restore balance, move your Qi and find tranquility after a hectic work week.

All levels of yogis are welcome, and no prior experience with acupuncture is necessary, as this is a gentle treatment to build wellness to all. Give yourself (and maybe even a friend or partner!) a gift by joining us to start the weekend off with a restful and refueling Friday of self-care.

We hope you will join us for some TLC!

About Lindsey:
Lindsey began practicing yoga in her teens to cope with the stress of school. While attending college in Philadelphia for art, Lindsey saved up to become a certified yoga teacher in 2021 through Three Queens Yoga. Lindsey now teaches group classes at two well-known studios in South Philadelphia, as well at City Fitness gyms. She also has experience teaching kids and is currently looking into offering Spanish yoga to populations that need it through the nonprofit Yoga 4 Philly. Lindsey starts every class with an open heart and the mindset that her students are also her teachers—she believes her path as a teacher will always be shaped and inspired by the people she meets along the way.

About Laura:
Laura is a dedicated PA board-certified licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) with a passion for guiding individuals towards a balanced and happy life through preventative health practices. With a compassionate heart, Laura, supports and guides others who wish to maintain a healthier, more harmonious life, on their path to wellness by offering a personalized approach in her acupuncture clinic. Having always been drawn to the principles of holistic health and preventative well-being, Laura intensely studied and completed her Master’s degree in Acupuncture at Won Institute of Graduate Studies, a Korean Buddhist school. With her knowledge in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and 5 Element Acupuncture she treats a broad spectrum of physical and emotional health conditions. Laura offers comprehensive care for adults of all ages and genders, focusing on acupuncture for pain relief such as: musculoskeletal issues, pain management, arthritis, migraines, allergies and sinus discomfort, digestive discomfort. Acupuncture for emotional wellbeing: PTSD, stress, anxiety addiction, as well as women’s health and menopause. Our Philosophy: At Healing Waves Acupuncture, Laura believes in the power of individualized care. Her approach is rooted in the belief that physical pain intertwines with emotional discomfort, and both aspects require healing. Recognizing this intricate connection, she dedicates one-on-one time to each patient, tailoring her treatments because everyone's journey to well-being is uniquely their own. In her acupuncture clinic, she may also incorporate various modalities such as cupping, gua sha and e-stim to enhance overall well-being and restore optimal body system function. The body has an innate ability to heal itself. Our goal is to help facilitate that healing process through the use of acupuncture and other holistic therapies. We focus on treating the whole person, not just the symptoms.
