The overall mission of GoodThings is to uplift people in our community who are pursuing their passion and subsequently make Philadelphia a great place to live.

We created the People and Places profiles to offer creatives, freelancers, entrepreneurs and small businesses a platform built to introduce them to new customers, clients, fans, etc. To further our mission, we’re working on building a grant program that will be open to anyone with a Person or Place profile.

Our goal is to launch the program once 10% of our profit equates to $1,500 and we have enough to give $500 to an individual person and $1,000 to a small business.

While we feel that these numbers are a good starting point, we hope to increase these amounts and the frequency at which we can offer these grants as we grow. We will open applications once we’ve hit this financial goal.

ELIGIBILITY:

• You must have a People and Place profile to be eligible for this grant

• You must fill out the application detailing what you’re working on, why you started this work, and how you would use the funds

• That’s it!
