Celebrate Shab-e Yalda with an unforgettable evening of live music, poetry recitations, and Faal-e-Hafez—a cherished tradition of seeking spiritual guidance through the works of the Persian poet Hafez. The event will take place on December 20th, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM in Philadelphia.
This special night will feature a musical performance by Shiraz Ensemble, Philadelphia’s very own Iranian music group, along with Mahya Hamedi, a talented multi-stylistic vocalist, pianist, and composer based in Boston.
This night of music, poetry, and reflection is dedicated to the courageous freedom fighters in Iran, whose unwavering hope continues to illuminate the path toward dignity and justice.
