During this four-part workshop, participants will learn how to Upcycled their own garment using hand-embroidery techniques. Embroidery can be a powerful tool to make your clothes last, and make your clothing truly one-of-a-kind.
Participants will be asked to bring in a garment they’d like to either mend or add embroidery to. During the class, they will receive some instruction and background information on how to apply these embroidery techniques. Time will be allocated to working on their own projects, and each student will be set up for continuing their projects after the workshop if it isn't finished by the end.
