Event Details

Singing City Choir is an artistically driven, socially conscious, and civically engaged vocal movement since 1948.

Performances will take place Thursday, May 1, 7:30 p.m. at Reform Congregation Keneseth Israel (8339 Old York Road, Elkins Park, PA 19027) and on Sunday, May 4, 3 p.m. at the Church of the Holy Trinity Rittenhouse Square (1904 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103).

Singing City and Nashirah (The Jewish Chorale of Philadelphia) will collaborate on a concert featuring music with themes of resilience and hope, including:
Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms
Mari Esabel Valverde’s When Thunder Comes
and Rollo Dilworth’s Weather.
