*What you will Learn:*
Explore the fascinating intersection of Astronomy and Mythology within your unique cosmic blueprint as we dive into the fundamentals of Astrology!
Designed for beginners, Aleena will guide you through the astronomical basis of birth charts to help you understand the symbolic origins of each placement.
You will walk away
* understanding how to read a birth chart as a map of the sky
* having a working framework of the pillars of Astrology— “planets” & angles, signs, houses, and aspects.
Participants will engage their own birth charts, and have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss any interpretive principles that come up.
This will be an afternoon of deepening your connection to your Self and the Cosmos while building community with other thoughtful, curious, intuitive seekers. We’ll have tea and light refreshments to accompany what will be a very stimulating gathering.
*About the Astrologer:*
Aleena has been studying the stars since college, where she completed her Bachelors of Science in Physics at Yale in 2016 with a thesis in cosmology, using stars to map the history of the universe and predict its future.
Aleena has always taken symbolism very seriously, but it wasn't until years after she graduated that she found out her inclination towards interpreting everything she learned in Physics symbolically wasn’t some far out delusion, but a natural human impulse that has been practiced for at least 4,000 years across every culture. As an astrologer, she specializes in timing. She is especially interested in helping people to figure out what cycle they’re in right now, how it connects to different points in their past, and what it might suggest about their future. Astrology can tell us so much about the inner world, the character, the psychology of the individual, but Aleena finds how this manifests in the outer world to be particularly exciting. Aleena has been ravenously learning Astrology for 2 years and is currently undergoing certification in Hellenistic Astrology.
