Join Pita Chip at any location on Friday, December 13th to celebrate co-founder Omar Alsaadi's 45th anniversary of immigration to the United State from Damascus, Syria in 1979 (hence the free falafel entree for the first 79 people, get it?). The Americaversary is a celebration of the dream that Omar brought to life in creating Pita Chip. Our vision is to create belonging, which is a reflection of the belonging that immigrants strive for when coming to America.
What's the deal?
- Free falafel entree for the first 79 people at each location (Temple, U-City, Yardley, & Comcast *in-store only*)
- From the 80th person on, we're offering a "buy one, get one later" deal. In other words, buy one falafel entree, get a voucher for a free falafel entree to be redeemed starting the next day (December 14th) and valid for 14 days.
NEW THIS YEAR: Follow us @eatpitachip to enter to win a free falafel entree every month for a year! We’re picking one random Instagram follower to win a free falafel entree once per month for one year. Must be signed up for our rewards program.
What charity are we benefiting?
For this year’s celebration, we are donating proceeds from the day’s sales to Northeast Philadelphia’s Caring for Friends which helps to combat food insecurity. We are proud to support a cause central to our core beliefs: everybody deserves good food.
