In this 3 hr class, students will create a softcover book from start to finish. We’ll start by sewing our text blocks and then explore how to make a sturdy paper cover to protect them.
This binding can be made at home with minimal tools, making it a super accessible and versatile option for notebooks, sketchbooks, or artist books. If you’ve done simple pamphlet stitching before and want to level up, this is a great next step — but don’t worry, beginners are totally welcome!
