As the founder of Sarah Tremain, a sustainable fashion brand, she transforms her mother Tremain Smith's encaustic paintings into unique, wearable designs that tell stories of resilience and individuality.
Guided by her personal journey of overcoming intergenerational trauma, Sarah is passionate about using fashion as a platform for community building and empowerment. In addition to designing, she offers mending workshops and sewing classes, encouraging others to extend the life of their garments and embrace sustainable practices.
Her work has been recognized in publications like Metro Philly during Philly Fashion Week, and she’s collaborated with organizations like the Arts League and Made Institute to host events that inspire creativity and conscious living. Through every project, Sarah remains committed to fostering connection, promoting healing, and creating meaningful change through design.
